Prophylactic dental cleaning is of utmost importance in our companion animals. In fact, periodontal disease is one of the most common health problems in our pets, and can be a precursor to other illness and bacterial infection.

All dental procedures for pets are performed under general anesthesia to ensure the most complete diagnosis and care. Routine dental treatment includes full oral radiographs, ultrasonic scaling, subgingival manual scaling, and polishing of the teeth. Extractions if needed are based on radiographs and oral exam once under anesthesia.
