  • Tiffany

    Office Manager

    Born and raised in southwest Florida she has always had a fondness for animal care. In other words: Tiffany LOVES dogs! She will hug every one that crosses her desk. She is an instrumental asset to our West Coast family because of her superior customer service skills.

    In her spare time, she in home pet sits dogs and likes kayaking with her husband.

  • Sandy

    Originally from Indiana, she followed her daughter to Florida several years ago. She has been in the veterinary field for over 16 years and loves working with clients and seeing all the different pets that come into our hospital.

    In her spare time she loves going to our Florida beaches, hiking and kayaking

  • Laurie

    Laurie recently moved to the Sunshine State from New Jersey with her Husband Doug, a retired First Responder. 

    Her interest in animals and receptionist experience led her to working in the veterinary field. Laurie has 2 dogs: Leo a Havanese and Teddy a Tibetan Terrier. 

    When not working she loves all that Florida has to offer by enjoying the sunshine while biking, swimming and utilizing the multiple parks we have here for long walks.

  • Adrienne

    Adrienne grew up in South West Florida. She has several years experience working as a receptionist in the veterinary field and is a great asset to our team.

    Her future plans are to attend school in St. Pete to study Veterinary Technology and become a Veterinary Technician.

    She has a special love for animals both large and small, from horses to sugar gliders. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family and her pets.

  • Gerrie

    Gerri is an invaluable receptionist at West Coast. Originally a flight attendant for over 15 years her love for animals lead her to the veterinary field in 1996. Her passions includes professional dog showing and sailing. She enjoys spending time with her family and both her dog and cat.

  • Kirsten

    Kristen is recently from Indiana, and is very excited to be working in animal medicine. She has always loved animals and has been interested in veterinary work. She finally decided to dip her toes into veterinary work by becoming a reception secretary, and is excited to see where working in animal medicine takes her.

    Bookkeeper

    Long time friend of Dr. Brown and experienced bookkeeper Doris has helped keep us on track since the beginning. Her knowledge of veterinary accounting makes her indispensable to our practice.

    In her spare time, her interests include bowling, muscle cars, rowing and sailing. She enjoys spending time with her family and both her dog and cat.

  • Cathy

    Cathy began working with Dr. Brown in 1997 at Braden River Animal Hospital as a receptionist and office manager. Cathy's other West Coast connection is that Dr. Browning is her daughter! The best part of the job for Cathy is meeting all of the clients. 

    In her spare time she enjoys cooking, visiting with her grandchildren, which keep her busy outside of the clinic.

  • Kathy

    A long time resident of Sarasota, Kathy has been a Veterinary Technician for almost 30 years. She has worked with Dr. Beth Brown since 1992 with both large and small animals. Her crucial experience at both practices and knowledge of veterinary medicine makes her a irreplaceable team member. 

    In her spare time she loves spending time at the beach, whether she is kayaking, paddle boarding or just spending time relaxing in the sun. Description goes here

  • Mike

    Mike moved from eastern Tennessee where he grew up on a farm and where his love for animals originated. He came to Florida over 30 years ago, and shortly after he started working as a Veterinary Technician. His years of experience make him a beneficial team member at West Coast.

    In his spare time he does in house pet sitting. Mike and his wife Denise have been married for 38 years and they have 2 granddaughters. They share their home with 4 dogs and one cat. In his free time he enjoys fishing, camping and playing golf.

  • Halle

    Halle grew up in Sarasota and has been working at West Coast since 2019. She loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, but especially enjoys working in our lab.

    Halle is currently pursuing a degree in Biology from New College of Florida and has a passion for research. When she’s not studying, she works in her garden, hikes with her dog, and spends time with her pack of misfit rescue cats.

  • Vicki

    Vicki has an appreciation for all animals. After attending USF for elementary education her love for animals changed her path to become a veterinary technician. Learning and bonding with the pets and clients is what she enjoys most on her days at West Coast. When not at work, spending quality time with her family is most important. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, being outdoors, and crafting.

  • Suzy

    Suzy was born and raised in beautiful Sarasota Florida. Ever since she was a little girl she has had a love for working with animals. Suzy's happy and energetic personality is an asset to the West Coast family, she loves working with both the clients and the pets she sees daily. 

    In her spare time she loves to be with her hyperactive furbaby Toby and play sports. You can always find her playing beach volleyball and running with her dog.

  • Ashley

    Ashley grew up in Florida and has always wanted to work with animals.

    She is currently taking on line courses in Veterinary medicine to become a Technician. Her eagerness and experience working with animals has made her an asset to the West Coast team.

    In her spare time she love riding her horse, walking her 2 dogs and Spending time doing outdoor activities with her husband.

  • Tara

    Tara was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida. She grew up in a family of dog show Goldens and barrel raced horses in her younger days. She has always had a passion for rescuing animals. She currently has 2 horses, a cattle dog, a Pomeranian and a ferret. Tara went to school for Environmental Science and pursued her career for 10 years in rescue, rehabilitation and research of marine mammals and sea turtles. In her spare time, she likes to be outdoors either paddle-boarding, hiking or riding her horses.

    She like to travel and stay in unique places like tiny homes and shipping containers. 

  • Shauni

    Shauni started as a volunteer and now is working part time at West Coast. She is currently attending USFSM majoring in Biology. Her goal is to become a Veterinarian in the near future.

    Her love for animals start as a young girl and has a special interest in large breed dogs. She currently owns a German Shepard, English Mastiff and a Tibetan Mastiff. She also loves exotic cats breeds owning a Sphinx, 2 Bambino Dwelfs and a Savanna cat.

  • Deborah

    Deborah moved to Sarasota in 2014. She earned her Master's degree in Educational Technology at Long Island University and is currently attending classes in Canine rehabilitation.

    In her spare time she likes to cook, do yoga, read and spend time with her family and friends

  • Courtney

    Courtney moved to Florida 6 years ago with her family from Buffalo New York.

    Even though she is new to Veterinary medicine she is eager to learn and loves caring for the animals.

    She has 3 cats that keep her busy when she is not watching watching sports with her family. To say that she loves the Tampa Bay Lighting is an understatement, she tries to go to as many games as possible including the Stanley cup games with her dad.

  • Katie

    Physical Rehabilitation and CVT

    Originally from the Tampa Bay area, Katie came to Sarasota and received a BFA from the Ringling College of Art and Design. As a long time Equestrian who grew up on the competitive hunter jumper A circuit, she eventually became a professional equestrian and met Dr Brown as a client during a sport horse exam.

    Her love for working with and especially caring for animals eventually drew her to work for Braden River Equine and then West Coast Veterinary Center. After years working in small animal medicine, she went on to earn a degree in Veterinary Technology from the St Petersburg College, and is now our lead physical rehabilitation technician.

    In her spare time, she does scentwork training with her dogs, teaches occasional horseback riding lessons, and competes in Ranch Sorting with her Morgan horses.

    Jacqulyn was born and raised in New Jersey until she relocated 5 years ago to Florida. She has been involved in veterinary medicine for the past 16 years She has both Rehabilitation and reception experience.

    In her spare time she likes to hang out with her husband, 2 kids and 2 shepherds. When not busy with her kids sports schedules she likes to go horseback riding.
